RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HIRING OF RUTH MACY AS
TEMPORARY PART-TIME CLERICAL EMPLOYEE

WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Assessor has requested Town Board authorization to hire
a temporary, part-time, clerical employee in the Town Assessor’s Office to work approximately 30

hours a week from April 10 through May 8, 2001 to assist in the Office’s conversion of 13,000 files
to a new tax map numbering system, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has considered the Assessor’s request and agrees that it is
appropriate and necessary,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes the hiring of Ruth Macy as
a part-time, temporary, clerical employee in the Town Assessor’s Office at the rate of $9.55 per hour

to work approximately 30 hours per week from April 10 through May 8, 2001, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the salary for Ms. Macy shall be paid for from the appropriate payroll
account, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Assessor, Town
Comptroller and/or Town Supervisor’s Office to complete any forms and take any action necessary to
effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
