198.2001 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE OF ROAD NAME FROM COURT STREET TO RUSH HOLLOW COURT RESOLUTION NO.: 198, 2001 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Daniel Stec WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. Theodore Turner WHEREAS, by Resolution No.: 387.2000, the Queensbury Town Board accepted dedication of certain roads in Phase I of the Indian Ridge Subdivision, including acceptance of Court Street, and WHEREAS, the Town Board has received a request from the only Town resident living along Court Street to change the name of the road to “Rush Hollow Court,” and WHEREAS, Thomas J. Farone & Son, Inc., developer of the Subdivision, and the Town’s Highway Superintendent have no objection to the suggested road name change, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby changes the name of Court Street in Phase I of the Indian Ridge Subdivision to “Rush Hollow Court,” and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Thomas J. Farone & Son, Inc. and the Town Highway Department so that the necessary poles and street signs identifying Rush Hollow Court can be properly installed, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Clerk to effectuate this road name change in the Town’s official inventory of Town Highways. th Duly adopted this 7 day of May, 2001, by the following vote: AYES : Mr. Turner, Mr. Stec, Mr. Brewer, Mr. Brower, Mr. Martin NOES : None ABSENT: None 2
