206.2001 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FORM FOR CHILD PERFORMER PERMIT RESOLUTION NO.: 206, 2001 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Theodore Turner WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. James Martin WHEREAS, New York State Arts and Cultural Affairs Law Article 35 requires that a Child Performer Permit must be obtained in order for a child to be employed, used or exhibited in certain exhibitions, rehearsals or performances, and WHEREAS, New York State Arts and Cultural Affairs Law Article 35 further sets forth that an application for a Child Performer Permit shall be made on a form prescribed by the municipality in which the child will be performing, and WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to develop an application form for the Child Performer Permit and authorize the Town Supervisor to review and approve such applications as they are received by the Town, and WHEREAS, a proposed Application for Child Performer Permit has been presented to the Town Board and is in form approved by Town Counsel, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby adopts, authorizes and directs implementation of the Application for Child Performer Permit form presented at this meeting, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to review and, if in proper and complete form, approve and sign all Child Performer Permit Applications received by the Town, file the Applications with the Town Clerk and take such other and further action as may be necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution. th Duly adopted this 7 day of May, 2001, by the following vote: AYES : Mr. Brower, Mr. Martin, Mr. Turner, Mr. Stec, Mr. Brewer NOES : None ABSENT : None
