233.2001 RESOLUTION SETTING PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED POLICY AUTHORIZING AND ESTABLISHING TOWN OF QUEENSBURY CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN RESOLUTION NO.: 233, 2001 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. James Martin WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. Daniel Stec WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board wishes to adopt a policy authorizing and establishing a Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for the Town of Queensbury, such CIP Policy to serve as a plan to facilitate meeting the Town’s future capital needs, including public works infrastructure, and WHEREAS, in accordance with New York State General Municipal Law §99-g, the Town Board wishes to schedule a public hearing to hear all interested persons concerning the proposed CIP Policy, and WHEREAS, the proposed CIP Policy has been presented at this meeting and is in form approved by Town Counsel, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board shall meet and hold a public hearing at the th Queensbury Activities Center, 742 Bay Road, Queensbury at 7:00 p.m. on June 18, 2001 to hear all interested persons and take any necessary action provided by law concerning adoption of the proposed Policy Authorizing and Establishing a Capital Improvement Plan for the Town of Queensbury, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Queensbury Town Clerk to publish and post a Notice of Public Hearing concerning the proposed CIP Policy in the manner provided by law. th Duly adopted this 4 day of June, 2001, by the following vote: AYES : Mr. Turner, Mr. Stec, Mr. Brewer, Mr. Brower, Mr. Martin NOES : None ABSENT : None
