RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE ORDER FOR POWEREDGE
SERVER FROM DELL COMPUTER

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board previously adopted purchasing procedures which
require that the Town Board must approve any purchase in an amount of $5,000 or greater up to New
York State bidding limits, and
WHEREAS, the Computer Technology Coordinator has advised the Town Board that it is
necessary for the Town to purchase a new computer server and recommends that the Town Board
authorize the purchase of a Dell Poweredge Server 4400 from Dell Computer for an amount not to
exceed $5,982, and
WHEREAS, New York State Bidding is not required as the server to be purchased is in
accordance with New York State Contract No.: PT55666,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves the purchase of one (1) Dell
Poweredge Server 4400 from Dell Computer in accordance with New York State Contract No.:
PT55666 for an amount not to exceed $5,982 to be paid for from Account No.: 001-1680-2031, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Computer Technology
Coordinator and/or Town Comptroller’s Office to take such other and further action as may be
necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
