330.2001 RESOLUTION ADOPTING SEQRA DETERMINATION OF NON- SIGNIFICANCE REGARDING CREATION OF SOUTH QUEENSBURY – QUEENSBURY AVENUE SEWER DISTRICT AND CREATION AND/OR EXTENSION OF KINGSBURY SEWER DISTRICT NO. 1 RESOLUTION NO.: 330, 2001 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Tim Brewer WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. James Martin WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board wishes to establish a new sewer district to be known as the South Queensbury - Queensbury Avenue Sewer District, and WHEREAS, part of the overall project also includes creation and/or extension of the Kingsbury Sewer District No. 1, and WHEREAS, the Town Board has been duly designated to act as lead agency for State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) review of the entire project including both the Queensbury and Kingsbury components for compliance with SEQRA which requires environmental review of certain actions undertaken by local governments, and WHEREAS, the proposed action is a Type I action in accordance with the rules and regulations of SEQRA, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board, after considering the proposed action, reviewing the Environmental Assessment Form and thoroughly analyzing the action for potential environmental concerns, determines that the action will not have a significant effect on the environment, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to complete the Environmental Assessment Form by checking the box indicating that the proposed action will not result in any significant adverse impacts, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board approves a SEQRA Negative Declaration and authorizes and directs the Town Clerk's Office to file any necessary documents in accordance with the provisions of the general regulations of the Department of Environmental Conservation. th Duly adopted this 20 day of August, 2001, by the following vote: AYES : Mr. Martin, Mr. Turner, Mr. Stec, Mr. Brewer, Mr. Brower NOES : None ABSENT: None
