395.2001 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TOWN SUPERVISOR TO SIGN GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN TOWN OF QUEENSBURY AND NEW YORK STATE HOUSING TRUST FUND CORPORATION, ESTABLISHING CDBG GRANT FUND AND SETTING APPROPRIATIONS AND ESTIMATED REVENUES FOR GRANT AWARD RESOLUTION NO.: 395, 2001 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Tim Brewer WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. Daniel Stec WHEREAS, by Resolution No.: 154,2001 the Queensbury Town Board authorized submission of an application for New York State Small Cities Program Community Development Block Grant funds through the New York State Governor's Office for Small Cities, and WHEREAS, the grant application was submitted and the New York State Governor's Office for Small Cities awarded a $400,000 grant to the Town of Queensbury, and WHEREAS, the Town has received a proposed Grant Agreement from New York State concerning the awarded grant funds and such Agreement is in form acceptable to Town Counsel, and WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to authorize the Town Supervisor to execute the Grant Agreement, establish a CDBG Special Grant Fund and set appropriations and estimated revenues for the grant award, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves of the Grant Agreement between the Town of Queensbury and the New York State Housing Trust Fund Corporation, represented by the Governor’s Office for Small Cities substantially in the form presented at this meeting and authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to sign the Grant Agreement, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board establishes CDBG Grant Fund #16 and sets appropriations and estimated revenues in the amount of $400,000 for the New York State Small Cities Program Community Development Block Grant funds received by the Town through the New York State Governor's Office for Small Cities, such appropriations and estimated revenues to be recorded in accounts to be determined by the Town Comptroller’s Office, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Comptroller’s Office to amend the Town Budget, make any adjustments, budget amendments, transfers or prepare any documentation necessary to establish such appropriations and estimated revenues and effectuate all terms of this Resolution. th Duly adopted this 15 day of October, 2001, by the following vote: AYES : Mr. Martin, Mr. Turner, Mr. Stec, Mr. Brewer, Mr. Brower NOES : None ABSENT : None
