RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR LIQUID ALUM FOR USE AT TOWN
WATER TREATMENT PLANT

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury Purchasing Agent duly advertised for bids for liquid
alum in accordance with Water Department Bid Specification No.: 01-14, and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Agent and Deputy Water Superintendent have reviewed the bids
and have recommended that the Town award the bid for liquid alum to Holland Company, the lowest
bidder meeting all requirements specified in Bid Specification No.: 01-14, for the amount of $192 per
ton for approximately 125 dry tons,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby awards the bid for liquid alum to
Holland Company for the amount of $192 per ton delivered, with payment to be from the appropriate
Water Department Account, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes and directs the Purchasing Agent and/or
Deputy Water Superintendent to take any action necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
