BOH26.2001 RESOLUTION DENYING SEWAGE DISPOSAL VARIANCE APPLICATION OF DAVID AND JANE HOPPER RESOLUTION NO.: BOH 26, 2001 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Daniel Stec WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. James Martin Motion to Deny Sewage Disposal Variance Application of David and Jane Hopper for the following reasons: 1.The number and magnitude of the relief sought is excessive in the Board’s opinion constituting a potential detriment to the health and safety of the Lake George Basin. 2.There has not been enough information supplied about the potential effect on neighboring wells as a drinking water source. 3.There appears to be at least one other alternative present by virtue of ownership of property in close proximity to this site. 4.Potential alternatives were discussed with the applicants and the applicants are unwilling to consider them or at least have not offered to modify their proposal at this meeting. th Duly adopted this 4 day of June, 2001, by the following vote: Ayes: Mr. Stec, Mr. Brower, Mr. Martin, Mr. Turner Noes: Mr. Brewer Absent: None
