RESOLUTION REQUESTING PLACEMENT OF ROAD SIGN ON
HAVILAND ROAD TO INDICATE INTERSECTION OF
ROCKWELL AND HAVILAND ROADS

WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board has received a petition from Town residents asking
for installation of a road sign on Haviland Road, Queensbury indicating the intersection of Rockwell
and Haviland Roads so that drivers traveling west on Haviland Road will be aware of the intersection,
and
WHEREAS, the Town Board concurs with this request and therefore wishes to petition the
Warren County Department of Public Works to install the road sign on Haviland Road as it is a
County, and not a Town, Road,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby expresses its support for the
installation of a road sign indicating the intersection of Rockwell and Haviland Roads, Queensbury so
that drivers traveling west on Haviland Road will be aware of the Rockwell and Haviland Roads
intersection, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor’s
Office to send a certified copy of this Town Board Resolution to the Warren County Department of
Public Works and Warren County Board of Supervisors and take such other and further action as may
be necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
