RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TOWN HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT TO
CONSTRUCT SIDEWALKS ALONG BURKE DRIVE

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board wishes to make arrangements for the construction
of sidewalks along Burke Drive in the Town, and
WHEREAS, the Town has received and reviewed plans and material requirements prepared by
Miller Associates for the proposed sidewalk construction project, and
WHEREAS, the Town Highway Superintendent has advised the Town Board that the
Highway Department is prepared to construct the sidewalks in accordance with the prepared plans for
an amount not to exceed $35,000,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes the Town Highway
Department to construct sidewalks along Burke Drive in the Town for an amount not to exceed
$35,000 to be paid for from the appropriate account with authorization for transfer from the account
mentioned, Account No.: 01-5410-4400, as needed to cover approved invoices, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes the Town Highway Superintendent to
take any and all action necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
