FERMEC TRACTOR LOADER/BACKHOE FOR USE BY TOWN

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board previously adopted purchasing procedures which
require that the Town Board must approve any purchase in an amount of $5,000 or greater up to New
York State bidding limits, and
WHEREAS, the Town Highway Superintendent has advised the Town Board that he wishes
to purchase one (1) Fermec Tractor Loader/Backhoe for use by the Town Highway Department, and
WHEREAS, New York State Bidding is not required as the purchased is under New York
State Contract,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves of the Highway
Superintendent’s purchase of one (1) Fermec Tractor Loader/Backhoe for use by the Town Highway
Department for an amount not to exceed $48,371 to be paid for from the appropriate account, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Highway Superintendent,
Purchasing Director and/or Town Supervisor to take such other and further action as may be necessary
to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
