RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING NEW CAPITAL PROJECT FUND
#122 – MOREAU WATER CONNECTION CAPITAL PROJECT

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 492, 98, the Queensbury Town Board authorized an
Intermunicipal Agreement with the Town of Moreau for the sale of water to the Town of Moreau, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to establish a Capital Project Fund to fund all expenses
associated with the construction of the water system connection planned between the Towns,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the
establishment of a Capital Project Fund to be known as “Moreau Water Connection Capital Project
Fund #122,” which Fund will establish funding for all expenses associated with the construction of the
water system connection with the Town of Moreau, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby establishes initial appropriations for the new Capital
Project Fund #122 in the amount of $220,000, the source of funding to be revenue received from the
Town of Moreau in accordance with the Intermunicipal Agreement and its subsequent Amendments,
and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Comptroller’s
Office to take any and all action necessary to effectuate the terms and provisions of this Resolution.
