RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF FUNDS TO COVER COSTS
OF MONITORING AND MAINTAINING CLOSED TOWN LANDFILL

WHEREAS, the Town Comptroller’s Office has advised the Town Board that a transfer is
needed in the amount of $9,000 from the Landfill Reserve Fund #63 to the Transfer Station Operating
Fund #910 to complete the transfer of funds budgeted in the Transfer Station 2000 Budget, and
WHEREAS, these funds will be used to cover the costs of monitoring and maintaining the
closed Town landfill,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves and authorizes the transfer of
$9,000 in funds from the Landfill Reserve Fund #63 to the Transfer Station Operating Fund #910 to
cover the costs of monitoring and maintaining the closed Town Landfill, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town
Comptroller’s Office to transfer funds and amend the 2000 Town Budget accordingly and take such
other and further action necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
