RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT BETWEEN TOWN OF
QUEENSBURY AND GLENS FALLS SENIOR CITIZENS, INC.

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board believes it is appropriate and beneficial to provide
social and recreational activities and programs to Town of Queensbury senior citizens and therefore
wishes to contract with the Glens Falls Senior Citizens, Inc. for senior citizen recreational and social
activities and programs, and
WHEREAS, a proposed agreement between the Town and the Glens Falls Senior Citizens,
Inc. has been presented at this meeting and is in form approved by Town Counsel, and
WHEREAS, this agreement is permitted and authorized by New York State General Municipal
Law §95A,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves of the Agreement between
the Town and the Glens Falls Senior Citizens, Inc. and authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to
execute the Agreement with funding to be paid from the appropriate Town account.
