RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HIRING OF
EDWARD F. CORLEW, JR.
RESOLUTION NO. 242, 92
, Introduced by Mr. Michel Brandt who moved
for it's adoption, seconded by Mr. Nick Caimano
WHEREAS,
the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury is desirous
Edward F. Corlew, Jr.
of authorizing the hiring of , to work with
the Queensbury Fire Companies in the Town of Queensbury to review
alleged OSHA violations by a fire company and generally train and
offer consulting services with regard to compliance with OSHA
Regulations and matters concerning hazardous material responses,
and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Edward F. Corlew, Jr. has performed such training
and consultation services at a cost of $35.00 per hour, with an
estimated cost not to exceed $2,500.00,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED
, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury
hereby authorizes the retaining of the services of Edward F.
Corlew, Jr. to assist the Town and Fire Companies with respect to
OSHA Regulations, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED,
that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to enter into an
Agreement with Mr. Corlew for the services to be performed, such
Agreement to be in a form to be approved by the Town Attorney, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED,
that the amount authorized to be expended in
connection with the aforesaid Contract in this Resolution shall not
exceed the sum of $2,500.00 without further Town Board approval,
and payment for the Contract shall be from Account #05-3410-4400.
