RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MODIFICATION TO
CONTRACT WITH O'BRIEN & GERE
RESOLUTION NO. 243, 92
, Introduced by Mr. Nick Caimano who moved
for it's adoption, seconded by Mrs. Susan Goetz.
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury previously
retained the services of O'Brien & Gere Engineers, Inc. to perform
certain engineering services for the construction phase of the
Water Treatment Plant Administration Building, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board is interested in arranging for a
modification of the building to eliminate certain anticipated
construction and delete certain purchases originally planned to be
made as a part of the construction process, and
WHEREAS, O'Brien & Gere Engineers, Inc. has offered to perform
engineering services necessary to devleop the aforedescribed
modification at a sum not to exceed $3,600.00,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes the
modification of the Agreement between O'Brien & Gere Engineers,
Inc. and the Town of Queensbury, such that the amount to be paid
O'Brien & Gere shall be increased by the sum of $3,600.00 to cover
drawing and verbal description of modifications and meeting with
contractors to negotiate changes, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the increase authorized hereby shall be paid
for from the budgeted account, which is believed to have sufficient
funds available therein.
