RESOLUTION HIRING RICHARD MORSE ENGINEERS LANDFILL CLOSURE
RESOLUTION NO. 248, 92

WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury after reviewing
the landfill closure requirements of DEC and also after having
considered several engineering firms and work to be performed with
the landfill closure and landfill matters hereby determines that
the firm of Richard Morse Engineers would be an appropriate firm to
retain for services,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
authorizes the Town Supervisor to enter into an agreement with
Richard Morse Engineering to perform certain work which shall
consist of matters relating to a closure investigation report
requirements for DEC at an amount not to exceed $9,880.00 with the
form of the contract to be in a form to be approved by the Town
Attorney to contain such provisions as are similarly contained in
contracts had with engineers, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the contract with Richard Morse Engineers shall be
paid for from the appropriate landfill closure account.
