RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE DEVELOPMENT OF INSURANCE
SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE TOWN'S REQUEST FOR
PROPOSALS
RESOLUTION NO. 403, 92

WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury is interested in
reviewing its insurance policies and the cost of providing
coverage, and
WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury would like to request proposals for
insurance next year, and
WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury would like assistance in preparing
its request for proposals,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
authorizes the Town Supervisor to solicit requests for proposals
from insurance consultants to review the Town's policies and
develop written specifications to facilitate an orderly request for
uniform, competitive proposals from insurance agents, brokers,
insurers and other insurance vendors.
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the Town Board would like the firm to design the
specifications package, analyze the proposals received, and make
recommendations of the best qualified proposal. Should the Town
Board approve the aforementioned proposal, the cost would be paid
from account #001-1345-4400.
