RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF DODGE PICK-UP TRUCK BY
PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury has been
presented with a request from the Director of the Parks and
Recreation Department, that he be authorized to purchase, through
State Contract, a 4 x 4 Cab Chassis Dodge Pick-Up Truck, with
certain optional equipment, as more fully set forth in the request
and accompanying documents submitted by the Director of Parks &
Recreation, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury, after
giving due consideration of the request, hereby notes that the
purchase on State contract would provide a proper exception to the
normal bidding requirements and that the same seems appropriate
under the circumstances,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the aforedescribed requested purchase of the
4 x 4 Cab Chassis Dodge Pick-Up Truck is hereby approved, and the
Town Supervisor is hereby authorized to execute any and all
documents that may be necessary on the part of the Town to acquire
said 4 x 4 Cab Chassis Dodge Pick-Up Truck, and the Director of
Parks and Recreation is hereby authorized to take all steps that
may be necessary to acquire said Dodge Pick-Up Truck, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that payment for said Pick-Up Truck shall be from
Account No.: 01-7110-2020 and that the amount of the purchase shall
not exceed the sum of $15,264.00, without further specific
authorization of this Board.

vote:
