RESOLUTION FOR MAINTENANCE OF SIDEWALKS
RESOLUTION NO. 563, l992

WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION
SECONDED BY: Mr. Pliney Tucker
WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury proposes the construction of
sidewalks within the State highway right-of-way for Route #254,
S.H. 656, in the Town of Queensbury, as shown on the permit plans
relating to the project, and
WHEREAS, the provision of said sidewalk is deemed to be in the
public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town of Queensbury will maintain or cause
to be maintained the sidewalk as above stated and as shown on the
permit plans, including the control of snow and ice, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk of the Town of Queensbury is
hereby directed to transmit three (3) certified copies of the
foregoing resolution to the State Department of Transportation.
