RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TOWN SUPERVISOR TO EXECUTE GENERAL RELEASE
REGARDING THE SETTLEMENT OF A CLAIM CONCERNING
GURNEY LANE WATER STORAGE TANK

WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Town Board of the
Town of Queensbury a General Release between the Town of Queensbury
and Industrial Enterprise Sandblast and Paint, Inc., and Firemen's
Fund Insurance Company, and
WHEREAS, the intent of the Release is to finally resolve the
claims between the Town of Queensbury and Industrial Enterprise
Sandblast and Paint, Inc., concerning the repainting of the Gurney
Lane Water Tank,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury, after
review of the General Release and review of the matter with the
Town Attorney, hereby indicates its approval and authorizes the
Town Supervisor to execute the same and place the seal of the Town
of Queensbury on the same, on behalf of the Town of Queensbury, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that any amounts due in connection with the
settlement of this matter shall be paid for from the appropriate
Consolidated Water District Account.
