RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING AMENDMENT TO 1993 BUDGET

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury previously
adopted a budget for the Town of Queensbury and special districts
therein for the year 1993, and included therein, an ad valorem tax
to raise revenue for expenses of the Hiland Park Sewer District and
the Queensbury Technical Park Sewer District, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board desires to amend the budget to provide
that the revenues shall be raised by sewer rents as opposed to the
ad valorem levy,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
authorizes and approves an amendment to the 1993 Town Budget to
delete therefrom, revenues to be raised by ad valorem tax for sewer
district expenses in the Queensbury Technical Park Sewer District
and the Hiland Park Sewer District, with the budget to be also
noted therein, that revenues to cover the expenses will be raised
from the adoption of a Sewer Rent Law implementing sewer rents in
the aforesaid districts, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the 1993 Town Budget shall hereby be amended as
set forth herein, and the Town Supervisor is authorized to notify
the County of the amendment to the Budget so that taxes may be
assessed as effected and amended hereby.
Duly adopted this 8th day of December, 1992, by the following
vote:
