RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SETTLEMENT OF CLAIM
OF FLORENCE M. GALLAGHER

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, there has heretofore been commenced a certain action
entitled, "Florence M. Gallagher vs. Town of Queensbury," and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury is desirous
of authorizing settlement of the same, subject to Court approval,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
approves settlement of the above-referenced action in the amount of
$750.00 and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the
proposed Stipulation of Settlement, subject to Court approval, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Attorney for the Town of Queensbury is
hereby authorized to execute the Stipulation on behalf of the Town
of Queensbury and take such other and further action as may be
necessary to completely resolve the litigation by filing papers and
filing for Court orders, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that payment of the amounts due shall be made from
the appropriate Sewer District account.
