055.93 RESOLUTION TO AMEND PLANNING BOARD SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS (CHAPTER A813 OF THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY) RESOLUTION NO. 55, 93 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Pliney Tucker WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mrs. Susan Goetz WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury is desirous of amending the Subdivision Regulations of the Code of the Town of Queensbury, copies of the proposed amendments to the Subdivision Regulations having been previously presented to the Town Board, and are presented at this meeting, and WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the Town of Queensbury held a public hearing concerning said proposed amendments, on December 22, 1992, whereat all parties in interest and citizens were heard and thereafter the Planning Board adopted said amendments, WHEREAS, §272 of the Town Law of the State of New York provides that the adoption of amendments to the Subdivision Regulations of the Town of Queensbury is subject to the approval of the Town Board, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby approves and adopts the amendments to the Subdivision Regulations of the Code of the Town of Queensbury, and also approves the actions of the Planning Board of the Town of Queensbury in adopting said amendments to the Subdivision Regulations of the Code of the Town of Queensbury, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby enacts the proposed Local Law to amend the Code of the Town of Queensbury, Chapter A183, thereof, "Subdivision of Land," to be known as Local Law Number 3, 1993, the same to be titled and contain such provisions as are set forth in a copy of the proposed Law presented at this meeting, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk of the Town of Queensbury is hereby directed to file the said Local Law with the New York State Secretary of State in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Home Rule Law and that said Local Law will take effect immediately and as soon as allowable under law.
