RESOLUTION TO CONDUCT POLAR CAP 10 K ROAD RACE

WHEREAS, the Adirondack Runner Club has requested permission to
conduct a POLAR CAP 10 K ROAD RACE as follows:
SPONSOR: The Adirondack Runners Club
EVENT: POLAR CAP 10 K ROAD RACE
DATE/TIME: February 13, 1993/9:30 a.m.
PLACE: Beginning and ending at the Queensbury
Elementary School parking area (see attached
entry form and map)
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks & Recreation is assisting in
helping to organize and conduct the road race, and
WHEREAS, the Queensbury Highway Superintendent has been apprised of
the race and given his approval,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
acknowledges receipt of proof of insurance, from the Adirondack
Runners Club to hold the Polar Cap 10K Road Race in the Town of
Queensbury.
Duly adopted this 1st. day of February, 1993, by the following
vote:
AYES: Mrs. Monahan, Mrs. Goetz, Mr. Caimano, Mr. Tucker, Mr.
Brandt
