I wanted to take an opportunity to explain why and what my position was. There are people that are going to say that I am being partisan on this vote, but I am not. I believe at this level of government the driving force should be to do what is right by the people of the Town of Queensbury. In my previous life, I had the opportunity to work for a Fortune 500 Company for forty-five years. Thirty of those was in a management position with responsibility for interviewing hiring staff. Based on my personal experience with all do respect to Ms. Magee the individual that I believe was most qualified for this position was Mr. Tim McNulty. Again, we heard Mr. McNulty present himself. This gentleman was a Veteran. A United States Army Colonel who served overseas. He was responsible for twenty five thousand people with a budget of a hundred fifty million dollars. I believe I have the responsibility to the Town to select the best person for the job. With that said, I will yield to the will of the Board. I will work diligently for the Town and will collaborate with Ms. Magee for the betterment of the Community. Thank you.
