RESOLUTION CONCERNING COMMUNITY RESIDENCES
SELECTED BY WILTON DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES SERVICE OFFICE
RESOLUTION NO. 279, 93

WHEREAS, there has heretofore been appointed a Committee,
known as the Wilton Group Home Site Review Committee, and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid Committee has been working with the
Wilton Service Office of the State Office of Mental Retardation and
Developmental Disabilities to identify and evaluate potential homes
in the Town of Queensbury that would be used for a group home by
the Wilton Developmental Disabilities Service Office, and
WHEREAS, the Wilton Group Home Site Review Committee has
forwarded to the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury certain
recommendations, dated April 13, 1993,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
acknowledges the work completed to date by the Wilton Group Home
Site Review Committee, including the development of an interim
report to the Town Board, dated April 13, 1993, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the said Town Board hereby recognizes the
Wilton Group Home Site Review Committee's extensive and genuine
efforts in assisting the Town of Queensbury in working with the
Wilton Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities Service
Office to locate group homes, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to furnish a copy of the
interim report to the Wilton Mental Retardation and Developmental
Disabilities Service Office for their consideration.
