RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT BIDS FOR #2 FUEL OIL

WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing for the Town of
Queensbury, Warren County, New York, duly advertised for bids for
#2 fuel oil, pursuant to Town of Queensbury Specifications, and
Mabb Oil Co.
WHEREAS, the firm of , of PO Box 63, Hudson Falls,
New York, has submitted the lowest bid for heating oil for all
locations, except at the Queensbury Landfill, and
Hometown Oil Corp.
WHEREAS, the firm of , of 157 Main Street,
Warrensburg, New York, has submitted the lowest bid for diesel oil,
and
B&B Fuels
WHEREAS, the firm of , of 9 Horicon Avenue,
Warrensburg, New York, has submitted the lowest bid for Kerosene,
and
WHEREAS, copies of the bids have been presented to this
meeting, and
WHEREAS, Darleen M. Dougher, Town Clerk, and A. Peter Brault,
Superintendent of Building & Grounds, have recommended that the
bids be awarded to the aforesaid bidders,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury,
Warren County, New York, hereby awards the bid for heating oil and
diesel oil for all locations, except the Queensbury Landfill
Mabb Oil Co.Hometown
location, to , diesel oil is to be awarded to
Oil Corp.B&B Fuels
, and the bid for kerosene is to be awarded to ,
and that said #2 fuel oil, diesel oil and kerosene be paid for from
appropriate accounts in each department from the l993 - l994
budgets.
