RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF
SMALL CITIES GRANT APPLICATION

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
will be accepting applications for the Community Development Block
Grant Small Cities Program, and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned Small Cities Program makes funds
available for providing assistance to new and expanding
corporations in the support of job creation and expanding local tax
base, and
WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury intends to submit an
application for Small Cities Funds to assist the AMG Corporation in
their proposed expansion within the Queensbury Economic Development
Corporation Technical Park on Dix Avenue, Queensbury, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury has held a
public hearing on July 26, 1993 to explain the specifics of the
Grant application and to provide opportunity for the public to
comment on the Application,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury
authorizes the submission of the Grant Application for Small Cities
Funds by August 11, 1993, to assist the AMG Corporation in their
proposed expansion within the Queensbury Technical Park, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury
authorizes the Town Supervisor to sign any and all necessary
documents to properly complete the Small Cities Application.
Duly adopted this 26th day of July, 1993, by the following
vote:
AYES: Mr. Caimano, Mr. Tucker, Mrs. Monahan, Mrs. Goetz, Mr.
Brandt
