555.93 RESOLUTION CONCERNING ASPHALT PLANT RESOLUTION NO. 555, 93 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Nick Caimano WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mrs. Susan Goetz WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury has been advised that an application has been made or will be made to the Town of Kingsbury Planning Board for the construction or location and operation of an Asphalt Plant in the Town of Kingsbury, but also in the Warren Washington County Industrial Park, and WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury is concerned about potential impacts to Town residences as well as to businesses located in the Warren Washington County Industrial Park, and WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury although recognizing that it does not have to issue a permit for the project is desirous of being an interested party in the application at review process, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby indicates its desire to be an interested party in the review process before the Planning Board concerning the Asphalt Plant to be located in the Town of Kingsbury as well as before any other boards in the Town of Kingsbury or Washington County that may be necessary or the County that may also have to review the project and hereby, IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby appoints Mr. Martin as the person who should act as a liaison between the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury and the Town of Kingsbury Officials or Washington County Officials conducting the review and express the Town Boards concern and also Mr. Martin shall notify and stay in communication with the Town Board in the event that any further action or resolutions need to be adopted by the Board.
