RESOLUTION HIRING ASSISTANT TO THE ASSESSOR

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, there exists the position of Assistant to the
Assessor in the Town Assessor's Office for the Town of Queensbury,
and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury is desirous
of hiring an individual for that position,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
provisionally appoints Ms. Pam Stoddard to the position of
Assistant to the Assessor, with the understanding that the
appointment is made until such time as a list of eligible
candidates for the position is available from Civil Service, and
with the further understanding that the position is permanent,
part-time, and that the salary for the position is set at a rate of
$8.32 per hour, and that other benefits, if any, will be in
accordance with Town Board resolution no. 64, 1992, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the hours for the position shall not exceed those
number of hours required by either State or Federal Laws, Rules and
Regulations which considers the person still part-time enable to
receive the types of benefits and pay establish by this resolution.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that funding for the position currently exists
within the 1994 budget, and for the balance of 1993, the costs of
the position will be paid for from Account No.: 001-1355-1730.
Duly adopted this 10th day of November, 1993, by the following
vote:
