RESOLUTION REGARDING APPEAL - BARRY AND ROBERTA A. CONVERSE
RESOLUTION NO. 744, 93

WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, there has been pending in Supreme Court the matter of
Barry Converse and Roberta A. Converse against the Town of
Queensbury and members of the Town Board constituting the Town
Board of the Town of Queensbury, and
WHEREAS, a decision has been rendered by the Honorable John G.
Dier, Supreme Court Justice in that action, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury after discussing
the decision with the Town Attorney has been advised that it has
the right to appeal, but does not wish to take that right to appeal
to appeal the decision,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
authorizes the Town Attorney to settle the matter and not take an
appeal of the action any further at this point.
