RESOLUTION CONCERNING YAFFEE SETTLEMENT
RESOLUTION NO. 215, 94

WHO MOVED FOR IT'S ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town Board by Resolution No. 207, 1994 previously
approved a stipulation discontinuing an action with Mr. Maurice
Yaffee in the amount of $16,000.00, and
WHEREAS, the Town Attorney for the Town of Queensbury has
advised the Board that there was confusion and a disagreement over
the exact amount of the settlement and a proposal has been now made
by the attorneys for Mr. Yaffee to settle at $17,000.00,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury after
examination of the matter feels that under the circumstances it
would be appropriate to resolve the case for a total sum of
$17,000.00 which is to be the total amount with no interest to be
paid on that sum.
Duly adopted this 25th day of April, 1994, by the following
vote:
