527.94 RESOLUTION CHANGING NAME OF PORTION OF LAUREL LANE RESOLUTION NO.: 527, 94 INTRODUCED BY: Mrs. Carol Pulver WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. Fred Champagne WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury previously accepted a road for dedication in the Town of Queensbury known as Laurel Lane, and WHEREAS, subsequent to the acceptance of Laurel Lane for dedication, an extension to Laurel Lane was constructed and the Town Board accepted dedication of that extension and named the entire street Laurel Lane, and WHEREAS, during the course of the renumbering and naming of streets as part of the emergency 911 code, it has been recognized that a portion of Laurel Lane should actually be referred to as a separate street due to the nature of the configuration of the road at its intersection with Marigold Drive, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby amends resolution no. 365, 94 to indicate that the extension of Laurel Lane will consist of 1,409' and the balance of the newly constructed road will be known as Lydia Lane, which Lane will run from Marigold Drive to the extended Laurel Lane and consist of 441', and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is hereby authorized to provide such notification to the Highway Department, the Department of Building and Codes and the Warren County Sheriff's Department of the new street name as may be appropriate, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Highway Department is hereby authorized to install appropriate street signs marking or designating Lydia Lane.
