It's my understanding that this information was sent to me at the request of the Town of Queensbury prior to any issuance of their land-use permits for confirmation on the presence of wetlands subject to USACE jurisdiction. As discussed, we are presently unable to perform field work such as in-person wetland delineation confirmations due to COVID-19. To avoid delays concerning your request, the Town of Queensbury may elect to use this email as confirmation that based solely on the information you've provided on the behalf of Mr. Brian Hayward (21 Stoddard Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801), wetlands do not appear to be present within the subject parcel of land even though NWI mapping shows the potential for forested wetlands in this area. If the Town of Queensbury will require a more formalized confirmation from our Agency concerning the presence of forested wetlands subject to USACE jurisdiction, please complete the attached joint-application & instructions, and a formal review can be conducted via the Section 404 permit review process. We are representing Mr. Brian Hayward who is proposing a residential house project at 5 Palmer Drive in the Town of Queensbury. The GIS mapping shows a potential ACOE Wetland in the vicinity of our proposed project. We have attached a wetland delineation that was prepared by Nicholas Basile 7/7/2020. The delineation shows that the wetland edge is more than 300 ft from our proposed project. The Town of Queensbury is requesting that we have the delineation reviewed by ACOE for a determination if the delineation is acceptable.
