Description
Dock structure will be built out of pressure treated lumber above waterline.
Stringers will be 2x8, 2 foot on center. Dock decking will be 5/4x6 pressure
treated. Dock post will be 4x4 non-pressure treated pine. They will be 2
foot above dock decking, 6 posts per dock. Docks are going to have 2
hinges per dock for lifting dock up in winter months. Deck structure will be
located on shore. It will be built out of pressure treated lumber. The stringer
will be 2x6, 16 on center. The decking will be 2x8 and the deck will be 8
foot x 20 foot. It will be setting on and anchor bolted to pyramid structure
used to secure docks to shore line. The backside of deck will be setting on
pyramid shaped deck cones. They are prefabbed and purchased at local
building stores. Deck will also be bolted to anchor pipes that are set in
cement.
NOTE: Client required he be able to have modest deck connected to dock so
adults can supervise grade school age children as they play/swim in shallow
water.
