159.95 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUPERVISOR TO SIGN AGREEMENT FOR SALE OR CONVEYANCE OF SCRAP METAL BETWEEN TOWN OF QUEENSBURY AND METALS UNLIMITED OF NEW YORK, INC. RESOLUTION NO. 159. 1995 INTRODUCED BY: Mrs. Betty Monahan WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mrs. Carol Pulver WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing for the Town of Queensbury, Warren County, New York, duly advertised for the sale of scrap metal located at the Town of Queensbury/City of Glens Falls Transfer Stations, as more specifically identified in bid documents previously submitted and in possession of the Town Clerk of the Town of Queensbury, and WHEREAS, Metals Unlimited of New York, Inc., has submitted the highest bid for the purchase of the Town's scrap metal (a copy of their bid being presented to this meeting), and WHEREAS, James T. Coughlin, Solid Waste Facility Operator, has recommended that the bid be awarded to the aforesaid bidder, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby awards the bid for the sale of scrap metal to Metals Unlimited of New York, Inc., and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Agreement for Sale or Conveyance of Scrap Metal between the Town of Queensbury and Metals Unlimited of New York, Inc., on behalf of the Town of Queensbury, and to place the seal of the Town of Queensbury on said document, and that the funds received for the sale of scrap metal be deposited into the Landfill Operations Account. Duly adopted this 6th day of March, 1995, by the following vote: AYES : Mrs. Monahan, Mr. Turner, Mrs. Pulver, Mr. Champagne NOES : None ABSENT: Mr. Caimano
