RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RETENTION OF SERVICES OF
ALVEY & COTE, LTD.
RESOLUTION NO.: 161. 1995

WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury desires to
authorize the employement of an appraiser in connection with
assessment litigation in the Matter of Salvador v. Town of
Queensbury, and
WHEREAS, the Town Assessor, working with the Town Attorney,
has interviewed various appraisers and has made a recommendation
concerning the employment of Alvey & Cote, Ltd.,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
authorizes the employment of Alvey & Cote, Ltd., for purposes of
generating a preliminary appraisal and any appraisal that may be
necessary for trial purposes, at a total cost not to exceed $2,800,
and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the costs of the services provided for in this
resolution shall be paid for from Account #01-1355-4740.
