RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RETENTION OF SERVICES OF
MBA CONSULTING & APPRAISAL COMPANY

WHEREAS, there is currently pending, litigation between
Regency Park Associates and the Town of Queensbury concerning the
assessments placed on the property for various years, and
WHEREAS, the Town Attorney for the Town of Queensbury has
advised that the services of an appraiser are necessary to assist
in preparation for trial and to have an appraiser attend the trial,
and
WHEREAS, a proposal by Robert P. Strell, President of MBA
Consulting & Appraisal Company has been presented at this meeting,
which appraiser was the same appraiser which originally prepared
appraisal reports on the property as part of the litigation, and
the Town Attorney has advised that it is important to retain the
services of the same appraiser for the trial preparation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
authorizes the employment of Mr. Robert P. Strell of MBA Consulting
& Appraisal Company, with the cost of services not to exceed $3,000
for trial preparation, and $600 per day for attendance at the
trial, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the costs of the services provided for in this
resolution shall be paid for from Account #01-1355-4740.

vote:
