RESOLUTION APPOINTING ASSISTANT BUILDING INSPECTOR AND
CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER

WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury Department of Community
Development will have an opening for an Assistant Building and
Zoning Enforcement Officer as a result of the retirement of one of
its present employees, and
WHEREAS, James M. Martin, Executive Director of Community
Development, has obtained the list of certified eligibles from the
Warren County Personnel Office for the position of Assistant
Building and Zoning Enforcement Officer, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Martin has advised that he has reviewed
applications, resumes, and conducted interviews, and hereby
recommends that Mr. Joel R. Clugstone be appointed as an Assistant
Building and Zoning Enforcement Officer,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury,
pursuant to §138 of the Town Law of the State of New York, hereby
appoints Mr. Joel R. Clugstone as Assistant Building and Zoning
Enforcement Officer on a provisional basis and subject to
probationary period requirements, with his annual salary to be set
at $21,500.00 per annum, and with employment to start April 3,
1995, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor is hereby authorized and
directed to complete any necessary forms to effectuate this
resolution.
