185.95 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DISPOSITION OF RECORDS RESOLUTION NO.: 185. 1995 INTRODUCED BY: Mrs. Betty Monahan WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. Theodore Turner WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury, by previous resolution, adopted the Records Retention and Disposition Schedule MU-1, issued pursuant to Article 57-A of the Arts & Cultural Affairs Law, and WHEREAS, at the time the aforesaid resolution was adopted, the Town Board also indicated that only those records will be disposed of that are described in the Records Retention & Disposition Schedule - MU-1 after they have met the retention described therein, and that only those records will be disposed of that do not have sufficient administrative, fiscal, legal, or historical value to merit retention beyond established time periods, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that until the Town Board adopts a further resolution, it may be assumed by Town officers and employees destroying records in accordance with the guidelines set forth in the Records Retention & Disposition Schedule - MU-1, that all records allowed to be destroyed in accordance with the guidelines, do not have a sufficient administrative, fiscal, legal, or historical value to merit retention beyond established time periods, unless the Town Board shall have by specific resolution, directed such retention.
