RESOLUTION CONCERNING CONTRACTS AND INSURANCE FOR
WATER TREATMENT PLANT EXPANSION PROJECT

WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury, by previous
resolutions, approved contract specifications and also awarded bids
in connection with the Water Treatment Plant Expansion,
construction and installation of certain transmission main, and a
water tank, and
WHEREAS, by the adoption of the aforesaid resolutions, it was
the intent of the Town Board to authorize the contracts and
authorize the Town Supervisor to execute the same and arrange for
Builder's Risk Insurance Coverage, and the Town Supervisor has
executed all contracts except for one, and is expected to execute
that contract in the near future, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury has been
advised that the total, annual premium for the Builder's Risk
Policy is $31,500., and that the same has been arranged for through
the Town's Insurance Agency, Cool Risk Management Services, Inc.,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
approves the purchase of the Builder's Risk Insurance Policy
through Cool Risk Management Services, Inc., in the amount of
$31,500., the same to be paid for from the appropriate Water
District or Water Treatment Plant Expansion Account, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
formally indicates that the Town Supervisor, Fred Champagne, is
authorized and directed to execute all contracts for the Water
Treatment Plant Expansion, Transmission Main, and Water Tanks, and
is also authorized to place or arrange for the placement of the
Town seal on all contracts.
