RESOLUTION REGARDING ASSESSMENT LITIGATION

WHEREAS, Storytown, USA, Inc. commenced Article 7 Assessment
proceedings against the Town of Queensbury in connection with
property tax map numbers 36-2-3.1 and 74-1-12.2 for the years 1993
and 1994 and have filed grievances for the year 1995, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury has reviewed
the assessment proceedings with the Town Attorney,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
approves a settlement of the above referenced assessment litigation
and grievance whereby 1993 and 1994 Article 7 cases would be
discontinued without refunds and tax map number 36-2-3.1 would be
assessed at $7,946,300.00, and the parcel bearing tax map number
74-1-12.2 would be assessed at $505,200.00 for the year 1995.
Duly adopted this 2nd day of June, 1995, by the following
vote:
