RESOLUTION APPOINTING FACILITIES MANAGER

WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury is desirous
of establishing the position of Facilities Manager, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury has reviewed
applications, resumes, and conducted interviews, and hereby
recommends that Mr. Perley H. Rice be appointed as the new position
of Facilities Manager,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
establishes the position of Facilities Manager, with the duties,
responsibilities, and authority set forth in the annexed job
description and with the annual salary to be set at $35,000. per
annum, and paid proportionately as earned, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
appoints Mr. Perley H. Rice to said position, with employment to
start October 9, 1995, on a provisional basis, subject to all Civil
Service Law requirements, including the appropriate examination and
subject to, after completion of the required Civil Service testing,
an eight month probationary period, and further subject to the
possibility that the title and duties of the position may be
somewhat changed or altered by further Town Board action, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor and Town Comptroller are
hereby authorized and directed to complete any necessary forms to
effectuate this resolution.
Duly adopted this 18th day of September, 1995, by the
following vote:
AYES: Mrs. Pulver, Mrs. Monahan, Mrs. Goedert, Mr. Champagne
