189.96 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TOWN CLERK TO SUBMIT PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) REQUEST FOR MICHAEL J. VASILIOU, INC. (FOX FARM) TO TOWN OF QUEENSBURY PLANNING BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 189.96 INTRODUCED BY: Mrs. Connie Goedert WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mrs. Betty Monahan WHEREAS, certain property lying and existing within the Town of Queensbury and bearing Tax Map identification numbers 73-1-23, 73-1-22.1, 73-1-22.3, 73-1-22.4, 73-1-22.5, 73-1-22.6, 73-1-22.7 and a portion of 73-1-21 is located in the vicinity of Aviation Road and the Queensbury Union Free School and is currently zoned RR-3A (Rural Residential - 3 Acres), and WHEREAS, Michael J. Vasiliou, Inc., hereinafter referred to as the "Developer" has requested that the Town of Queensbury change or modify the zoning to allow the development of a multi-faceted project, including enactment and approval of a Planned Unit Development (PUD) for the project, and WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury feels that it would be appropriate to consider modification of the zone in the area to allow the project, provided that the same is zoned and in a configuration to be deemed appropriate by the Town Board and developed as a Planned Unit Development, in accordance with the provisions of the Town of Queensbury, Zoning Ordinance, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby refers the PUD proposal as identified above to the Planning Board for input and comments from that Board, and directs the Executive Director of the Office of Community Development to submit a copy of this resolution and all of the appropriate PUD application materials to the Planning Board for its review.
