RESOLUTION APPOINTING PERLEY (CHUCK) RICE TO
PERMANENT CIVIL SERVICE STATUS

WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury has
heretofore created the position of Facilities Manager of the
Building and Grounds Department, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury, by
resolution no. 502, 95, appointed Mr. Perley (Chuck) Rice,
provisionally to said position, until such time as Mr. Rice passed
the Civil Service Examination, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Perley (Chuck) Rice has tied for second place on
the Civil Service examination for the Facilities Manager position,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that Mr. Perley (Chuck) Rice be hereby appointed to
the position of Facilities Manager and that he be given permanent
status, with a twenty-six (26) week probationary period to commence
on the date of this resolution, in accordance with the Civil
Service laws, rules, and regulations of the State of New York,
Warren County, and Town of Queensbury, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor is hereby authorized to
complete any civil service forms that may be necessary to
effectuate the terms and provisions of this resolution.
Duly adopted this 3rd day of June, 1996, by the following
vote:
