375.96 RESOLUTION AMENDING RES. 180, 96 REGARDING REVOCABLE LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY AND WARREN COUNTY FOR USE OF COUNTY PROPERTY FOR HUDSON RIVER PARK AND RECREATION AREA RESOLUTION NO.: 375.96 INTRODUCED BY: Mrs. Connie Goedert WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mrs. Betty Monahan WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury, by resolution no. 180, 96, authorized a Revocable License Agreement between the Town of Queensbury and Warren County for the use of County property as the Hudson River Park and Recreation Area for a term not to exceed ten (10) years, and WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation of the Town of Queensbury has advised that the New York State Parks & Recreation Office requires, as part of its funding criteria, a term of twenty- three (23) years rather than ten (10) years, and WHEREAS, the Warren County Board of Supervisors has already approved modification of the License period from ten (10) years to twenty-three (23) years by its Resolution 479 of 1996 dated August 16, 1996, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby amends Resolution No.: 180, 96, such that the Revocable License Agreement between the Town of Queensbury and Warren County shall be for a term of twenty-three (23) years rather than ten (10) years, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to sign the Revocable License Agreement in a form to be approved by Town Counsel.
