RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT BID FOR TRANSPORTATION FOR THE ELDERLY
WITH COMMUNITY WORKSHOP, INC.

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing for the Town of
Queensbury, Warren County, New York, duly advertised for bids for
transportation for the elderly in the Town of Queensbury for the
year 1997, and
WHEREAS, Community Workshop, Inc., has offered to provide
transportation services for the elderly for the year 1997 for an
amount of $14,088 for the Tuesday/Thursday busing schedule, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing has made a recommendation
to award the bid to Community Workshop, Inc., the only and
therefore lowest bidder,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury,
Warren County, New York, hereby awards the contract for
transportation of the elderly for the Town of Queensbury for the
year 1997 to Community Workshop, Inc., for an amount of $14,088 for
the Tuesday, Thursday busing schedule, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the contract amount shall be paid for from the
previously budgeted account.
Duly adopted this 2nd day of December, 1996, by the following
vote:
