RESOLUTION AMENDING 1996 BUDGET

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 472 of 1996, the Town Board of the
Town of Queensbury authorized the purchase of additional capacity
from the City of Glens Falls Sewer Treatment Facility for the
Central Queensbury Quaker Road Sewer District Extensions 1 and 2,
and
WHEREAS, the funds for such buy-ins have been reserved in
escrow and deferred revenues in the Quaker Road Sewer District
Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury desires to
increase estimated revenues in Sewer Charges, Account
#032-0032-2122, to reflect the transfer of escrow and deferred
revenue funds to the Sewer Charges Revenue Account, and such
increase in estimated revenues shall be used to fund an increase in
Sewer Charges - Glens Falls Expenditure Account #032-8130-4425,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
approves, authorizes, and directs that the 1996 Budget be amended
as follows:
1) Increase appropriations in the Quaker Road Sewer Charges
- Glens Falls Account No.: 032-8130-4425 by $15,640;
2) Increase estimated revenues in the Sewer Charges Revenue
Account No.: 032-0032-2122 by $15,640;
3) Increase appropriations and estimated revenues in the
Quaker Road Sewer Fund by $15,640.
and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the 1996 Town Budget is hereby amended
accordingly.
